Six Free Days of Grand Theft Auto 4 on XBOX LIVE!

To celebrate the release of the upcomming DLC 'The lost and the dammed' for GTA IV, Rockstar are giving 6 free days of multiplayer action on LIVE! So you don't need to have a gold membership to blow fools up on the XBOX. It starts on the 17th of Feb and ends on the 22nd.

GTA IV: The lost and the dammed is released on the 17th of Feb for 1600 microsoft points.

New DLC for Mass Effect on the Horizon

At the New York Comic Con, Bioware community manager Jay Watamaniuk was there and spilled some info about a second DLC for the much loved Spac

e RPG. Unfortunatly when asked about a release date he shyed away from the question and went on to talk about the PC version and the patch they have in development.

Personaly i can't wait. Mass Effect is one of my top ten games. Any news about Mass Effect related issues you are sure to find here.

Epic Points at Single-Player DLC

Gears of War II writer Joshua Ortega hinted at downloadable content for the XBOX 360 exclusive 3rd person shooter. He was at the New York Comic-Con this weekend gone. When asked if single player downloadable content would be released he responded by saying:

"Keep watching, you won't be dissapointed"

So keep tuned people, if anything more is revealed i will let you know.

Video Game Release For Week Starting 9/02/2009

Well its a start of a new week, with that brings new releases. Well when i say releases, i mean release. This week has only one new release, but it is a big one. Fear 2: Project Origin finally releases. I played the demo and thought it was pretty good, although did not have the feel of the first Fear. Check it out.

Final Fantasy XIII Trailer

Well people it has hit, the latest trailer for the epic Final Fantasy XIII. It is 

the latest game in a long-running  series which i have been playing since Final Fantasy 7, back when i got my first Playstation.  Take a look and see what you think.

Awesome huh? Really looking forward to this game. Its a shame is takes Square-Enix a decade to get it released in Europe though eh?. Still,  would not have it any other way. You know that when it comes to Final Fantasy, Square wll not let you down.

Just need some more info now on Final Fantasy Versus XIII........

Xbox 360 Recent Dashboard Update Causes Red Ring of Death?

Recently the 360 underwent a dashboard update to fix HDMI Sound related problems. The update has made some consoles inoperable.  The update is done without an option and is required if you want to sign into Xbox Live! A Thread over on xbox.com has almost 30 users who have been caught in the death grip of the 3 red rings.

On hearing this i realised that i have not turned my 360 on is about a month (don't hate me) I switched it on and downloaded the update, pleased to say i had no problems.

Is this all a coincidence? Is it simply just a unstable patch? or do ALL 360s have a scheduled RROD date?

Who knows, just glad mine is ok :)
